For Parents and Youth Workers

An invitation for you.
Welcome to Wieuca.  Thanks for taking the time to check us out. I hope this helps to give you a glimpse into the  youth ministry of Wieuca Road Baptist Church. We would love the opportunity to hear your story or to help answer any questions you and your family may have.  See our contact information below and consider this an official invitation to let us take you and your family out to Starbucks for further conversation.

There have been a lot of new developments in the youth ministry of Wieuca over the past six months as we have recently completed a major renovation of our youth facilities.  We are excited about the future of youth ministry at Wieuca and would love to chat with you about how you could be a part!

We believe that Wieuca has a lot to offer students in the Atlanta area.  Being an adolescent can often be a difficult process of life.  We often compare being an adolescent to a tight rope walker.  On one  side there is the poll of childhood and the other side the poll of adulthood.  In the middle of these two polls is this awkward stage of life we call adolescence.  We strive to create a safe place where students can experience the story of God during this unique stage of life.  We believe that Wieuca Road Baptist Church allows our students to be a part of intergenerational family that is constantly seeking their place in the greater story of our God. We are big enough to offer meaningful spiritual opportunities yet small enough to be known and heard.  We welcome you and look forward to hearing y our story.  Thanks again for taking the time to learn more about us.

Youthworkers
(All adults, parents of students or anyone that wants to get involved in student ministry)

Coffee Talk
We want to create a time of guided conversation and dialogue around issues that parents of adolescents face.  We will do our best to bring a few resources for you to look at and to create an open environment of sharing, learning and conversation.  Being an adolescent parent and youthworker is difficult and we hope can be a time of refuge, refreshment and encouragement.
