Habitat for Humanity Construction Sign-Up
Please Sign-up for Any Day(s) You Are Committed to Volunteering.
Saturday, April 12
Saturday, April 19
Saturday, April 26
Saturday, May 3
Saturday, May 10
Saturday, May 17
(No Build on Memorial Day!) Saturday, May 31
Work Times: Saturdays from 8 am - 4 pm
What to Wear: Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing that they do not mind getting very dirty or painted. Loose fitting clothing is not recommended, nor is jewelry, as both could get caught on a nail, piece of lumber, etc. Steel-toed boots are the number one footwear fashion statement; with other work or hiking boots a runner up. Thick-soled athletic shoes are the final option. Open-toed shoes, loafers, or other shoes without traction are not allowed on site. Any volunteer wearing unacceptable shoes will be asked to leave the worksite.
What to Bring: Volunteers do not need to bring anything other than their completed release forms. It is best if you do NOT bring a purse, your own tools, or anything that may get lost or stolen. If you do want to bring your own tools (hand tools only-no power tools please), please make sure they are clearly marked. Atlanta Habitat provides all tools and materials. Volunteers may want to bring a pair of work gloves.
Please note: Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to be on the job site. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 must have a parent sign it also, so it must be completed before arriving on site.
