If you consider yourself ready to go deeper, you’ve possibly become dissatisfied with where you’re at, due to an increasing spiritual appetite. You feel like you’re just coasting along, really familiar with spiritual disciplines, and beginning to connect with God on the ups and downs of life. By this point, you’re already familiar with some of the ups, downs, twists, and turns of your spiritual journey.
Now is the time for you to really be intentional about discerning God’s calling for your life. From this point, you will continue to experience spiritual disciplines, deepening your understanding of them and the nature of the spiritual life.
All of this takes intentionality on our part, a place of belonging in community, and the work of God’s Spirit (which is a gift) in your life.

Note that a mission trip or a retreat, or just about anything can function just how you and God need it to function for your journey at any particular time. Just be open!
