Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Safety and Security
Safety and security for our children is Wieuca's priority. Each Sunday and Wednesday, we have a check in desk for parents to register their children as present for their appropriate class in our Kidstown Center (East Wing, third floor). Parents will sign their children in or out of classroom roll, alert workers to any allergies, and will be issued a security/name tag linking them to their child.
Each child will wear their name tag on their back and parents are asked to keep their security tag until pick up time. For babies, we ask the tag be attached to the child’s diaper bag. At the end of worship, parents are asked to present the security tag when picking up their child.
In our baby/toddler class, we will only feed the food provided in your child's bag. In our older preschool class, we provide a cup of water and a Saltine cracker. (If a different snack is ever provided, it will be clearly posted for parents to be alerted.)
9:45 AM KidsTown Sunday School (For Grade Schoolers)
KidsTown is a unique learning environment designed for our children from Kindergarten-5th Grade. On Sunday mornings your grade schooler will enjoy games, crafts, music and Bible stories led by a dedicated team of volunteers whose greatest joy is to teach your children about God and His love. Children discover God's truth in His word, the Bible. Children have the opportunity to learn a story and apply these truths to their life.
11:00 AM KidsTown Children's Worship
Children in K - 5th grade are invited to worship in a child sensitive space where we play games, sing songs, hear Bible truths and learn what the Bible means to kids. During our KidsTown worship, children are encouraged to participate by earning tickets to spend in our KidsTown store.
